Yeah, even when my kids were in elementary I usually got the teachers gift certificates for the teacher supply store at Christmas, and then a Panera gift card at the end of the year. Keep in mind your year=round gift giving and adjust accordingly. I do a big (to me) Christmas Gifts, and a medium one when my son leaves the classroom to move up a year. So my teacher appreciation gifts are a bit smaller in general.
