Years ago, I bought this cute little green hydrangea plant on clearance at Target.
I have used it in various places all over my house. For the most part, it has stayed as my centerpiece on our dining room table.
Now that things are starting to warm up, Spring is right around the corner and I just wanted to add another layer of color to it. Just Spring it up a little.

My youngest son had given me a bunch of pink hydrangea he found somewhere (yikes, where did they come from???) and earlier this week, I used a few of the petals to make a couple hair pins.
Then I just used the leftovers to add a little POP of color to my green hydrangea plant.
It just added some fullness and that extra little touch of Spring to my dining room. (for free)Super cute. :)
My earlier comment got deleted because I was not patient enough to do that word verification stuff. So I have to type it all over again... sob sob!
ReplyDeleteThis looks lovely with the pink flowers... and so clever of your to upcycle one of the flowers and make a hair pin.
