Kid's Craft: Patriotic Wreath

This was so easy that my kids can do it.

Our inspiration was from Family Fun magazine...a magazine that every family should read. It has the best ideas for games, activities, and crafts. My kids love to pick out a few of their favorites to make each month. This time it was this little wreath...
So here is how we did it:

Get red, white, and blue paper. You can use cardstock, but colored paper was easier for my children to roll. Cut each sheet into quarters.Roll individually and tape with double stick tape.Cut out a cardboard circle and begin arranging. The boys arranged everything with double stick tape, but we soon realized that mom needed to reinforce each cone with some hot glue.Punch out a star in whatever color you wish...we chose solid red and white and glue in the center.
And you are finished! Make sure you punch a hole in the back of the cardboard for ribbon for hanging. Neither one of my boys wanted to use ribbon (because it's too girlie) so we are just going to tape it to their bedroom door. BOYS!
