End of Year Awards and 4th Grade Party

The last day of school involved End of year awards and parties. I am very proud of my boys for their grades and for the progress they have made this year.

Jansen got A/B Honor Roll, an attendance award, a reading team award, and a Citizenship award...

He even got called for a raffle prize!

Caleb got several school awards and a Perfect Attendance Award for not missing a single day of school for the second year in a row!

He also was called for a raffle prize...

This year, I was asked to be in charge of the 4th grade luau. This means that I was not able to be at Jansen's party, but I made a deal to be there for his 4th grade party in two years. Every grade gets to have a small class party, but the 4th graders each year get to have the gym all to themselves for a big bash.

It turned out well, for all the last minute stress :)

The kids wore their new Clute Intermediate shirts, we had pizza, chips, and desserts, they danced, the hula hooped, played basketball, signed yearbooks, and just enjoyed the last half day of school.

Caleb had a really great time, although he cried like a baby when it was over.

He really loves school and doesn't like to be off for vacation.

I now have a 5th and 3rd grader!!! Caleb is moving on to Clute Intermediate and Jansen is moving up to 3rd grade at Polk Elementary. Welcome sweet summertime!!!!
